Were you and your family affected by the recent hurricane disasters and having a difficult time feeding your family? Or maybe you are struggling within this economy to find a way to feed your family good and healthy meals that you will feel good about. Maybe you are just looking for a way to give back to the community year-round. Well if you fall into any of those categories, 360 Eats is the food truck experience for you!
360 Eats is a non-profit organization that is transforming the food system in Pinellas county with their "360-Degree System". This solution encompasses mobile food rescue, community feeding through their "CommUnity Kitchen" mobile food truck, as well as a composting initiative.
360 Eats partners with local grocery stores, wholesale distributers and farms to save their surplus ingredients from being thrown away and rather, put to good use in nutritious meals to be served within their mobile food truck. This mobile food truck travels all across Pinellas county delivering 100% FREE, nutritious, chef-prepared meals to food insecure communities each week. And there is NO LIMIT to the number of meals that you can take so, your family can't come with you? That's okay! Grab them a few meals and bring them back home with you.
360 Eats relies on donations and volunteers to be able to drive this initiative each week. If you're looking for a way to give back to your community this holiday season or even throughout the year, you can volunteer to cook or donate food to help keep their mission of ending hunger in Pinellas county alive.
