They have multiple programs based around their food truck that serves healthy meals for FREE to the community with the goal of never letting anyone in the Tampa Bay area go hungry. You can get free meals for yourself and your family, you can volunteer to help or you can donate to this amazing nonprofit with a mission.
Programs:
Saving Food: This program is dedicated to reducing food waste by rescuing surplus, quality food from various sources and transforming it into nourishing meals for the community.
Comm'Unity' Kitchen: This program is dedicated to distributing chef-prepared, nutritious meals to individuals and communities facing food insecurity via their Comm'Unity' Kitchen food truck, ensuring that no one goes hungry in Tampa Bay.
Culinary Cultivator: This program offers paid culinary internships to individuals with barriers to employment, giving them the skills they need to lead successful, financially sustainable lives.
Sprouting Food: This program converts food scrapes from our cooking and rescue efforts into compost, growing more food to provide sustenance to the surrounding community.
